Service Client

  1. Sign in to the Admin Console.
  2. Select the folder where you want to place the Service Client.
  3. Select the New button at the top of the folder structure, or

  4. Right-click on the folder and select New then Service Client.

  5. In the Name field, give the Service Client object an identifiable name.
  6. In the IP Address or Hostname enter the IP Address or Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) The complete domain name for a specific computer or host on the Internet and consists of two parts: the hostname and the domain name. of the Service Client object host machine.
  7. Select Add Service Client.

    If you use HTTPS, use the Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) to reduce potential communication issues. This is especially important for Control Panel Application (CPA) manufacturers such as Ricoh, Toshiba, and Kyocera.
