Enable Offline Secure Release

Learn how to enable and configure Offline Secure Release Print (OSRP) in your Vasion Printenvironment. You'll see the essential settings, Service Client setup, and optional user filtering options to ensure the right users have access—keeping your print environment secure and always available.

Enable OSRP

  1. In the Admin Console, navigate to Tools then Settings then Printing.
  2. Scroll down to the Pull Printing section.
  3. Select Enable Offline Secure Release Printing.

  4. Optional: Select Prioritize Workstation Release.

    When enabled, this setting introduces a short delay of up to 20 seconds, to allow the workstation Client to reconnect and release the job the Service Client releases it.

  5. Under the enable OSRP setting, select Show Filter....

  6. Select the Add button for options.
  7. Select the desired object type and use the modal to select the appropriate object.
  8. Select Save.

Enable the OSRP Service

  1. In the Admin Console tree view, select a Service Client.
  2. Select the Offline Printing tab.

  3. Select Enable Offline Secure Release Printing.

  4. Select Save.
